I always wanted to start a community portal for maji vidyarthi from Vidyaniketan.
Finally I made a decision today to install wordpress and start a blog for Vidyaniketan guys.
Is anybody in contact with our Shasakiya VidyaNiketan friends?
About me:
My name is Sanjay Parasharam Jadhav. My Roll number was 26. If I try I can actually list all of the peoples full name. May be I will try it some day. I was at Walgoan Road Amravati from 1983-88. Then I went to Shivaji Science College and eventually to Govt Engineering College. Completed my Computer Science there, then worked few years in Mumbai and now I am in Edison, NJ from last several years.
From my class – I have met Shaukat Ali in Denver and have not heard from anyone yet. Dinesh Patre I met him in Mumbai and he has been upset that I did not mention this . We used to call him DK and he had very much interest in painting of bollywood posters when we were in the school.
Dinesh the only reason I did not have your name cuz I wrote this before I met you in Mumbai and did not have a chance to update this page. Thanks for pointing out.
Do you know where everybody is?? How is the school doing these days?

Ganesh so far this is all I have what you see on comments section. Pravin has started a lined-in group and you may find some more information there about maji students. I am happy to see your comments as well. One day may be I will have to organize the comments information into some kind of database but so far it is manageable.

So happy to see messages from familiar names (brought back many memories). Our Vidyaniketan fraternity seems to be fragmented in online world. Thanks to Sanjay for starting this forum. I also have created a yahoo group but wasn’t in touch with very many folks from Vidyniketan so not much success there. But somebody has created an account for our school on Orkut.com. It seems there was a lot of activity on it sometime ago but not so much right now. Here is the link if you want to join. It would be a good way to keep in touch. And it will be easy for future memebers as Orkut is getting very popular.

What I wanted was that people create new pages and discussions but this one is going in the comments but so be it. as long as we can communicate and it is saved somewhere. But I really need if anyone has pictures from back those days. I tried to look but could not find. I may have to make some calls back home to see if there are any copies. I only remember I had a b&w photo from Natak we did written by our then principal ( I am trying to remember the name,….)
well. the name of the drama was solitairy bus, all I had to do was stand there and act like a college goer.
But again if anybody wants to start the new topic you can do so by registering yourself.
If you havent noticed this site is wordpress site, I think wordpress is still the best blogging software.

Hi guys..I am Kshitij Uttarwar was the part of Vidyaniketan amravati during 1992-1998. really really unforgettable moments, what we spent there. I got very happy as I went through this blog.remembered those days.
I was there at the time of Bharatiya,wakode,rehaman(principal),patil(warden),dhale,tekade sir and patilkarji. By that time itself patilkarji got retired and wakode,bhartiya sir transferred.
Still remember the NCC pareds,changapur trips,gulab jamuns on 15th August, shaleya troup,uposhans and lot of things. I guess ranganath Nimje was in 10th when I joined. I remember somewhat.
Currently I am in bangalore working as software professional.

I am Vishal Meshram, 1991 pass out from Shaskiya Vidya Niketan, Amravati. After doing HSSC from Shivaji Jr. Science College Gadchiroli , completed BE Comp Sc from MNREC (MNNIT), Allahabad on 1998 . Got job in Bharat Petroleum, Mumbai thru campus and was there till Nov 2004. On Dec 2004 joined Sun Microsystems, Bangalore and then transfered to Sun Microsystems, Singapore on Dec 2006 and since then working here as Oracle DBA .
I have one daughter and wife leaving with me in this beautiful country.
Still remember the NCC pared, gulab jamuns, canteen, to keep alive upto 11 O’clock and then at 4am, ground with biggest NALA, football, cricket, table tennis, teachers and many more ..
But could not able to get in touch of any my batch mates after I left.. only Chandrakant Masurkar accidentally struck at REC Nagpur for counseling on 1994.

I had visit to blog in August, 2009. I want to give you some information regarding GPS, Chikhaldara/Amravati. Every year on seond Saturday-Sunday of January there is a get together. We around 100-150 families every year meeting regularly. Now you ae also Welcome, the proposed venue of coming 2010 GT is Jain Vally, Jalgaon, as declare by Mr. Ravindra Jadhao Ex-student and presently working as PS to His Excellancy, President of India. hi, i am chandrakant Masurkar , 1992 batch pass out from GPS amravati. this is very good move that GPS MAZI VIDHYARTHI going know each other by this means, i am not getting any of my batch mate since i left school.i am in production manufacturing field, for last 2 yeats i was in nigeria to start a project of woven sack bags.thanks to vishal meshram still knows me after so long time. i have very high regards for our teachers friends of my batch & many more,I would like remember BHARTIYA SIR, who used handle the 240 student hostel like as their home, evening prayer and strike we all done for good quality foods when i was in 8th , resulting to replace MAnge sir as warden.I am very happy that u all frnds keeping our that 6 yrs od memories alive.

OUR CLASSMATES FROM GPS-AMT WERE CAME TOGETHER ON 25-26-27 DEC.2009.AT AURANGABAD. APRROXIMATE 20-22 COUPLES WERE MATE AFTER 20 YEARS.IT WAS VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. IT WAS NICE TO SEE CHANGES IN BODY, FACE, STATUS,FIELD OF THEIR WORKING.IN PUNE ALONG WITH ME PURUSHOTTAM PAWAR IS ALSO WORKING IN MNC.
