I had all of my education in Amravati Maharashtra India. I was in public school also known as Shasakiya vidyaniketan from 5th grade to 10th. The school was amazing, we used to complain while in there but thinking back now I know the school was the best.

I went to Shivaji Science for 11 & 12th. Then I went to GCOE Amravati to complete my Computer engineering. Drop me a note at “sanjay at kimaya dot net ” if you are from Amravati and have some pictures to share.

There are certain things about this place which I still remember.

Changapur on Hanuman Jayanti.  – Hanuman Jayanti is during peak summer. Bunch of us went to Changapur when I was in may be 7th grade. I still remember the food there was great. After the prasad (lunch) when we were ready to go back to vidyaniketan I noticed that my shoes were missing and did I mention I had walked to Changapur? I will never forget that day when I walked with no shoes from Changapur to Valgaon road at around 3pm. The distance is 3 kms but I was lucky and I got a ride after 1km back to Valgaon road.

Amba Devi – I used to love the prasad (chiranji) when I was in scout to keep the crowd in control.
